Trained Volunteer
Trained volunteers lend their time and energy to providing for the social needs of patients and their loved ones. Their dedication and selflessness contribute to creating a nurturing environment and meaningful experiences. Here are some key responsibilities and contributions of volunteers:
Offer companionship and support to patients by spending time and engaging in conversations.
Read to patients, share stories, play games, and/or simply provide a comforting presence.
Facilitate social interaction and create a sense of community.
Provide short term respite care, allowing families to run errands.
